Hey guys. Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Frank. I probably won't post much, but I'll be doing a lot of reading. I have two cars - both lowered, but neither are stanced. My pile of parts is a 2000 Ford Mustang GT. Light mods, but it broke so I parked it and a few months later it got hit. Couple thousand in damage, but I can't afford that so it'll sit that way for a while. My dd is a '97 Mercury Grand Marquis. It's got custom lowering springs (1.5" drop - nowhere near enough, but I was one of the first to get them made, so I didn't know how low I could go), exhaust, and BBS wheels w/ spacers. Nothing special. pic

I'm here to drool over pics and hopefully gather some ideas on how to slam the Marq on a college student budget. Obviously no one makes parts for these cars, so I have to figure something out.

Not really feeling the exhaust but the wheels/car look great. I normally wouldnt saythis but cut your springs since you have no other optioms. Welcomr to stanceworks

Some do, mine didn't. I've got coil springs in every corner.
The only reason I wouldn't want to cut the current springs is because they aren't stiff enough to keep the tires from catching the fenders as is.
