  • FD3S from New Zealand

Hey all, I'm Brad from New Zealand. I Drive an FD3S RX7 with fairly weak fitment (rears 17x10 15p with 225/45). Haven't seen a single FD3S with tough fitment in NZ so I hope to be the first! ha.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

As you can see it isn't 'flush' at all, but any lower and my crossmember and exhaustpipes would be touching the ground. Hoping to get a more aggressive fitment with some help and advice from you guys (Y). However in NZ it's pretty hard to find decent rims to achieve good fitment. so...advice please

Probably the best FD in the world, and hes from nz...

If you want to find wheels to "achieve" good fitment, where there is a will, there is a way

Im sure you'll find something.. May not be cheap, but then again to do this ish right, its never really cheap.

            Welcome.

oh yes madmike's is awesome! but I was talking in terms of not being many flush street driven FDs.

and drama: that chop is quality! thanks.

As i said I would like to go that low now but crossmember etc are already down too low. would you guys recommend to use a larger rim? say 18" or 19"? would allow me to get closer to the guards without my car scraping shit off the road haha.

Well at that height, you could probably go flush on 19s but I think they might look to big. Maybe staggered 18/19 wheels? heres a pic of one

and heres one in all 18s around

                and another one in 18s
