Man, props to all of you dudes who successfully pull this crazy shit off, because trying to get my car to sit flush and slammed and have a good stance and all that stuff is freakin hard!!! Seriously though, props.
Anyway here is a short intro.... my name is Elliott, I live in Orlando FL, I have had 8 944's in the past 6 years. I use the name "drift a 944" on several other forums so it's kind of stuck with me.
The orange one you see below was my first 944 and has been and always will be an evolving project car. It is originally a red 86 normally-aspirated, but right now it is supercharged, and lowered on Bilstein coilovers with Eibach springs, has a welded differential, and plenty of other junk. I autocrossed it for years, and then got into drifting in 2005 and have been doing amateur drift events since then.
The black car is an 86 944 Turbo (951) which evolved from a daily driver into another project car. It can be very difficult to find wheels and suspension to give these cars a good stance... especially if you are on a budget.
Here is what the orange car looked like 6 years ago when I got it.

And here are some shots of how it looks now.

not insane yet like some cars on this site but its gettin there...

still riding dirty under the hood but I almost guarantee you won't see this setup elsewhere..

side profile

moving on to the black car. I have a couple other 944 turbo's also but this one is my test mule! It's not riding quite as flush as the orange 944 but if you saw the stock fitment on these things you would either cry or die.

decent side profile shot, from the FixxFest show in Bradenton FL.

action wooooooop

I got the opportunity to meet Mike Burroughs and crew at the FixxFest show in Bradenton, FL last year (09)... it was definitely cool seeing the cars in person that have always been an inspiration to me and so many others online.
Anyway thanks for allowing me to be a part of the site!
