Hello everyone, my name is Thomas, and I'm from Kelowna, BC. About a month ago, I got my 1996 Ford Crown Victoria. It was comfortable and quiet, but the only thing special about it was the colour. That was until yesterday, when I finished up my DIY lowering kit. You see, Aerobody Panthers use open-end springs on the front, so those can be cut down by a fair amount while still having a safe amount of pre-load. I cut two coils out of my front springs, and there is still more than enough tension at full downwards travel of the lower A-arm to be safe. Next up was a set of SN95 GT rear lowering springs I got second-hand a while ago. The lower mounts are near identical, but the frame mounts on the Aerobody have little tabs for the factory isolators that need to be ground back a little for the GT lowering springs to fit. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the results. Very mean without being excessive. Enjoy!
