Realised I have been here for a while and started a few thread but never actually introduced myself, so hi!

    Im Joe
    Live in Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK.
I've been working as a self employed vehicle body technician for a while, doing repairs and restorations from home and as a sub contractor.

Heres what I'm currently working on for a customer at home, Mk1 Caddy pickup, full resto, smooth bay, extended rear arches, etc.

Mini Black Ltd edition, full restoration. (Cousins first car)

I have just secured a job as a painter through Mercedes, which is going to be amazing! It also means I will have more time to spend on my cars I'm currently back down to one project and one daily (I had 6 at one point).

    Project:
'90 Volkswagen Golf Gti 8v Mk2, 16v smooth bay, show car.

My build thread for this is a bit of a mess at the moment, but I shall sort it out soon. (hopefully)

    And

'93 Volkswagen Golf GL Mk3, daily.

I am also a keen amateur photographer and hope to focus on that some more in the future.

    Please say hello

Welcome! I new to posting on this site but have browsed four years. It'd honestly one of the best and most supportive forums I've been on. I'm a huge VW fan myself, nice work in the mk2 hope to see progress!

          Nice intro Joe.

Glad that you've got a good job now, the projects/homework are interesting to say the least!
