  • w123 wagon from MA

Hey guys, joined a while ago and have just been lurkin but figured i would post some pics. I got this 1985 w123 300td wagon a few months ago, it was completely stock minus an egr delete. Car was a brown metallic hyundai color and had rust through all the wheel wells and through the hood/trunk/and d(side of hatch) pillars. Car also barely ran due to lack of maintenance and veggie oil so it needed a new Injection pump, glow plugs valve adjustment filters etc. After a lot of welding and bondo i repainted the car, tinted the windows(first time), added a side exit 3" pipe its done. Wheels are some early porsche phonedials 15x7.5 et28 and i have 1 " hub adapters. I cut the springs and its got bilstein hd shocks, i also moved the strut towers up a few inches to get off the bump stops in the back. The aw11 and e36 in the background are my other projects, ones boosted and ones gettin a 5.0 right now.

Dude this thing looks awesome. The wheels fit the look perfectly. How many coils did you cut from the springs? I think it would look bad fucking ass if you cut maybe 2 or 3 more coils. Look forward to hearing more, it looks amazing!

Its lower than it looks because i painted the rockers+frame with por15 while i was doing the paint, If i pull forward into that garage bay in the first picture it already scrapes and barely makes it same story with my driveway, the 3 inch side exit exhaust doesnt really help either, its already so ovaled but i figure that and the skid plates keep things safe. As i said earlier its really about as low as it can be for where i drive. I already cut probably 3 or 4 coils, i had similar diameter tires and could fit more than a hand in the wheel gap when stock so...............

depends on the event, this is my cool cruiser but not one of my really modified cars. The aw11 in the backgrounds got a engine swap and a turbo/megasuirt/a2w intercooler and that e36 has a 5.0 built w/ trickflow top end kit/megasquirt plus a bunch of other goodies.
