Salutations everyone!
I'm Jme and I hail from one of the most isolated cities in the world, Perth, Australia.
I've been around cars all my life and probably will for as long as I can.
Have been lurking on these forums for a while now, and I'm genuinely impressed with some of the risqué innovations coming from this community. I hope I can share some of that same innovation with my latest project.
I do have a long standing love affair with all things old Skool cool Benz. I remember rolling around with my dad in his 280se 3.5 W108 when I was a kid.
This journey started 2 years ago when I ended up with a '69 w108 280se, however after a little investigation it was abandoned due to the sheer amount of rust. It wasn't a viable proposition. About 6 months ago I started scouring local classifieds seeking another classic Benz. This brings me to this immaculate one owner, full service history and documented 1975 W115 230.4. It's almost too good to retromod but life's to short to stay stock and I've wanted to do this for a very long time.

A retromod conversion isn't complete without a suitable donor. The complete W204 C63 driveline/loom/cross members/brakes etc will be transplanted. The exterior and interior will remain authentic and relatively untouched except for the bagged height and rolling stock. Most of the work will be under the skin.

I'll start up a thread once I get things rolling with the conversion.
