  • Greetings from Blighty...

Hello all, I was recently directed here by a fellow follower of all things stanced and I must say I'm impressed!!!

After a string of small yet nippy rides (Clio 16V, EK9 Civic VTi, Clio Williams, Nissan S13, DC2 Integra Type R, Polo GTi) I've now been coerced into a world of luxury, and ultimately stance, as such find myself here

Anyway, as my tinkering with cars over the years has gradually seen me paying much more attention to wheel/tyre/suspension set up (I guess I must be a closet stance whore) I purchased this last week to get a little more serious

    Let the games begin...

oh, nearly forgot!! we got busy with the angle-grinder today!! Just for the time being so it isn't a boat haha

and stuck some 10's on the rear as they were laying around! 25 offset clearly won't work with these arches haha

looks like that offset would be perfect with some smaller tires

after a couple of months in the paint shop... :P

            picking it up:

            putting it down:

            I'm a happy lad

Decreasing arch gap clearance on old Benz's is a mofo, especially as it's on it's arse

I'd love to cut another coil off really but it's a daily so I need a little compromise unfortunately

the rear spacers didn't have as much impact as I expected, shows you can go pretty wide on these with smaller tyres (wouldn't see 10" rears being an issue at all) but the stance is drastically improved with them on!

oh, while I was waiting I got some spare visors from a salvage yard and made these too:

all I need to do now is fit the steering wheel and enjoy it! what do you think???
