  • Slamming My Car

    Hey Guys.
I'm really looking forward to getting a new car. I don't know exactly what it'll be yet, but I'm hoping to get a Impreza WRX STI Hatchback/Sedan or a G35 Coupe or a Golf GTI/Jetta/CC.
There's a couple more, but maybe give me some feedback on what you all think I should get (nothing too pricey as a used car). I'm new to the Stance scene and I was wondering what the definite first things I should do, are?... I know I want to go static instead of bags and I've done a lot of research on some other things I should do, but haven't actually talked to anyone or gotten any human being's opinion on it yet. I live in Florida, so there won't be any snow or ice being driven on, for one. I wanted to get some quality coil-overs, but I don't know what company to go with or what coil-over type to get. Next, I wanted to get a camber kit to be able to adjust that and have just a little neg camber (again I don't know what company to go with or what a reliable one even is). Lastly, about the wheels and tire set up, if like to go with some BBS's or something similar to them. I don't know how to go about getting the right sized wheels/rims and I'd even maybe stretch the tires. I don't k ow yet. I was also looking for a little info on how some of these mods will affect the handling of my car. I know the basics, but I don't know any real "in depth" effects of any... If you guys could help me with that and give me your opinions and tell me anything else that's a necessity for slamming my car, that would be great!
    Thanks

All of those have a nice aftermarket available for them. I can;t help you choose, but if it's money, the Golf or WRX are probably the ones with the least expensive mod options available. Also, if you're like me and prefer rear/AWD that will guide your choice as well. Although a well done CC is a thing of beauty

    progress IS a slow process

What's your budget first off, if you spend all your cash buying your first vehicle you won't have anything left for mods

Probably around $10K. I'm looking for a used car and it doesn't have to be super nice to begin with either.
