As for what you said on your other post, since you mentioned wanting an e30 m3, i would recommend getting a normal e30, especially if you can get your hands on a car with a car with an m20b25, 170 hp is not bad for at all for how small the e30 is. I have the 5 series from the same era and it is reasonable to work on. As for the subaru, i would recommend getting a CG8, which is the first generation impreza, they are not as common as the more modern imprezas but imo one of the coolest. Plus it would be easy to swap in a better motor down the road, with one of those your best bet would be to buy at least an AWD as some models were FWD, and the best model sold in the us is the 2.5RS.Last edited by Robitussin; 07-09-2015, 11:03 PM.e28 build thread

E30's were around from 1982 to 1991 or so. Honestly if i were you i'd get an old Volvo. Especially if this is your first car. Anyone with a wrench could work on one, and you couldn't kill it if you tried.

I'm also a fan of the car in the video for Fucking Young by Tyler the Creator. Do you know what kinda car this is?
Thanks for the help btw

Cars with a similar look to the e30... Well, if you want retro, a mk2 golf (1984-1993) from some angles can look an e30 hatchback, or if you end up with a lot of extra cash then see about finding a Lancia DeltaNeither of these have a particularily "similar" look, but if you enjoy the looks of e30's you'll usually like these. Oh and VW Jetta's aswell as they are saloon(Sedan) golfs
Hope this helps a bit!
I am a party pooper. I poop at parties.
