In all seriousness, the bumper is a really complex shape and low to the ground, so its hard to spray. The hood is flat, and putting it on one of those frame things or leaning it against the wall of the booth probably isn't better than leaving it on.-Christian.

The hood was left on because he also did the fenders, if I understand right. My body guy is actually a friend who is meticulous to say the least. He discovered the car had been repainted at some time and it was making color matching more difficult. The back bumper though needed some massaging and had to come off. Hopefully back to his shop soon to have the front bumper done.
Thanks for the kind words
Heres another project that I dont have time for:

Thanks for the kind words.
I dropped in the larger pump and injectors over the weekend, made minor adjustments to the tune so it would run and then went off to chicago to race some go carts and screw around. Took a pic though...so progress accounted for. E85 soon-ish

I finally got around to gathering the rest of the pair of these old OZ 15's. Going to have the tires thrown away, hub bored out and probably sand blast and re-finish. Cant decide if i just put on a cheap 15" tire, or some a/t's. I think it might look need lowered on the a/t tires.

Old tires dismounted and thrown away.
Have to modify a 2g DSM bumper sometime this week for another friends build. Dont mind my 2x4 bike rack...
So now its time to start refinishing. No idea how I can copy the finish they have where its machined face and painted inside.
Thats all for updates on old dirty dimesack. Rolled some Miata fenders last night at a buddies house, it also got some fuel upgrades.
And I picked up my fuel filter setup for the E85 switch. Fairly productive evening.
This is more of a build thread now than a intro, but I dont want to start over...l ig:coltondk l youtube:coltondk I DD: Tundra I Projects:l 06 STI I 87 S10 l I 57 Chevy Belair I I 48' International KB-2 I 07R6r l

Another busy weekend. Spent most of Saturday working on a Ej255 swap dune buggy build. Lots of sandblasting old suspension parts. Got my STI out for a sunday cruise with a car that makes 3-4x the power.
Doing some new gaskets, and fresh paint for the valve covers.
Couple pics from Sunday.
