  • UK Mx5 driver - saying hello!

I'm not new to Stanceworks, but I've never really posted much. Since I've started building my engine back up I thought I'd see if anyone is interested.

I have a NA mx5 based in the UK, it's a UK car and have owned it since 2012...

I'd like to go down a route that isn't seen in the UK, everyone here takes the mx5/miata and goes JDM, or drifter, or stance, or track etc... I want to go USDM...

Miata badges, Jap engine, miata mats, no indicators on the fenders, US show plate.

Then start adding my own style which I'm slowly doing anyway...
This is the car how it stands now...

It's been sat with no engine since July, and this weekend I've been building up the new engine, I'll start a project thread and link it from here later.

For now though, I just wanted to say hi!

Interesting picture. Doesn't really let us see the car. Interested in your future plans for it though

Thank you! I'm currently building up the engine ready for FI....

Also thought something you don't see in the UK is USDM style, so I'm planning on doing that with Miata badges, miata mats, square rear plate, delete the side blinkers and go kinda OEM but a little lower and some white Enkei's PRO2's on with spacers....
