  • R129 Mercedes SL - soon to be bagged

Hi everyone, I've got a R129 SL which is currently slammed on H&R springs and the thinnest rubber shims available. It a very aggressive drop, looks great, rides sh*t and is highly impractical. I've been researching the air suspension options and its the way forward.

I'm leaning towards the Elevel system and will undoubtedly be posting questions on the forums.

Will post a picture of the current stance soon!

hey i was just thinking the same thing I've had my R129 as a project for about a year now when i bought the car the previous owner had already lowered it on eibach springs. so now many miles after the struts are pretty much blown and I'm trying to figure out what i want to do next i have some wide 19s on there right now. I had a W210 e320 slammed on coilovers but when i got rid of it last month i dint have a chance to take oof the coils i probably would have made those work...but now I'm considering air suspension
