Hello Stance Works,

Just picked up a 1982 528e(I have owned over 15 hondas/acura so a bit out of my element), it's my daily drive, and I live in Colorado. So wont be doing much to it until winter is over, just cleaning it up and snow tires. Pretty sound mechanically, newer transmission, timing belt, radiator, valves adjusted, exhaust, and misc belts. Everything works including power windows, locks, and sunroof. Only thing I have done so far was throw on a Yakima rack, still need to get the snowboard/ski attachments. I'll throw a post up here and there as I accumulate parts over the winter. Colorado members, get at me for meets/drives and what not would be cool to meet some other BMW owners. I'll resize photo later, apologize for the size.

Wheels and coil overs and you'll be done. The old BMWs don't need much to be awesome.

^^^ Agreed. Simple is usually better on the older bimmers. Lower it on some classy looking wheels and youre all set.

That is basically the plan, replace old suspension parts with new, then coilovers and tasteful wheels. Eventually go through the interior, the carpet is pretty stained, dash has a few cracks and a few rips in the leather, nothing huge, but bothers me a bit.
