Aloha everyone!
Ive been lurking around these parts a while now, thought Id register and say hello and show you what I'm about.
My names Johnny, Im from the UK, and Im into Datsuns... low Datsuns.
1978 Datsun 330 (280C)
How it arrived:
After getting a shed-load of welding done, and chopping in a L28E fuel injection lump from a 280ZX in, and dropping the bastard 5" at the front and 3" at the back, then giving it a coat of purple it stood like this....
Then it gained an 'interesting' shifter:
Then the other week, finally got round to getting it in the colour I always planned: black!
All I need to do now is save for some airride to get the slag right down in the weeds.
My other ride is new to my hands so hasn't had much yet, a '79 Datsun Laurel. Not gonna get much except some wide wheels and a little drop (its gotta be usable on the shocking roads we have as a daily). Im not gonna paint it or anything - all this patina is real and earnt the proper/hard way:
