I have it booked in on monday, I don't trust mechanics in this country.
I think either way I'll swap, my inner OCD tells me rust isn't shiny enough.

As far as the pic goes I don't want to go OTT, I think I'll go as far as a front splitter, but everything else will be stock.

GOOD NEWS. kind of. After reading kyjans fiesta build, I got inspired to sort mine out while it's off the road, so I'm on the look out for a new engine, cheaply, either an xr2i or an RS turbo.
I'm pretty sure mine is beyond repair. So anything is better than what's in it now.
I decided today with work being slow that I was going to pretty much remove the interior for W8 rurdurction bruhhh. tommorow front seats are coming off for carpet removal. I have a friend with some better, less pizza cutter sized wheels, so might borrow them and try them on for size.
next on the list after interior strip down is rust repair. After all it was in England for 20 years. And it's a ford. can't let it spread anymore then it has. won't be anything special at the moment, but give me a chance and some time and I'm sure I can make it work :P
Anyway, a photo to prove I haven't been lazy today
more news and pics tomorrow

I did things. I regret doing those things. But I did them anyway.
and then I found this:
And this:
and this too:
Oh, and to top it all off:
Which kinda makes me want to do this:
anyway, must carry on, I need a racecar. once the engines out I'll find a car spit thingy and remove/repair rust and paint. until then I can't do anything.
Being poor sucks.
