  • Any love for peeps in Delaware?

Sup, I have been searching the web for sites on fitment and came across this forum so I registered.

    Heres some general info.

    I live in Lewes DE.

    I own a 2000 Lincoln LS.

For now its dropped on Canuck Springs, not the best but one of the 3 available for my car and they drop it the lowest. Im still not low enough fro my taste so Im hopefully gunna find some help on a cross reference or way to fit a adjustable set of coilovers from another vehicle via adapters.

Bash on about my wheels. Im broke no thanks to my kids ( love 'em anyway ) and I been saving for some time now for a set of SSR's or something mesh.

Currently its a set of 19" ADR M-Sport. Dont cost much but considering my sh*t bolt pattern and the tacky tasteless wheels everyone else slaps on the LS its a damn good choice.

The size is conservative, 19x8.5 with a +38et on 235/35's. I need to do some more research on spacers which is probably the biggest reason I joined here and I'll be starting another thread for that later. I'll probably end up with adapters rather than just plane spacers to widen my variety of wheels.

Most of the work done is DIY do to a lack of aftermarket but thats a good thing if you have skill and patience IMO!

Heres the most recent pic I have and Im gunna get some more once Im confident these springs settled all the way down.

Heres a PS of how low I wanna go but I need to bring out more poke and run more flush.

The rear is tucked in the PS but thats cause of the chop adding camber. Im confident I can go that low or lower and still get it to poke without fender work.

I like that bodystyle alot, is true that most people put gay gigantic chrome wheels on them.

Cant wait to see this LS stanced. Welcome to StanceWorks

          Thanks guys!

I started out with a 02 Galant I was gunna do some JDM swaps with. Clean body clips, nothing aftermarket on the body really,... just imported OE stuff. But some broad coming from a Hillary Duff show cut us off while on her cell phone and we totaled it pushing her on to some ones porch steps.

Then I was told my girl was prego the day I was taking a used FD for a test drive which killed my dreams of owning one of my dream cars. I was walking home past the stealership when I saw my car. I didnt see many sport editions at the time with out the gay chrome trim on the bumpers so it looked super clean. I thought "that would be a good family car" and I figured I would pick it up.

I didnt have any intentions on doing anything with it at all, just leave it stock. But a few guys with some VIPed LS400's I knew got me brainstorming. Then came the inheritance from my girls aunt passing away ( very lucky in a sad way, not bragging ) and she got our second vehicle which gave me room to play with this thing.

I'll admit, like no other this car can be a real big POS and its frustrating not having any aftermarket support but the VIP guys really got me inspired to just make shyte happen and when the cars running clean its a hell'a tight car.

Other things I have done so far is stuff like painting the chrome trim on the grille and rear tag surround to match the body plus shaving the emblem spaces. A custom bent polished intake ( not a true CAI but works great. Not no freaking PVC ghetto crap either! ), Some interior swaps like my leather wheel and leather shift knob. I swapped them out for the wood trim but I left it at that. Some people go nuts with that stupid aftermarket trim on these cars pasting the garbage all over inside and kill its clean look.

Magnaflow kit but Im waiting to find out what I wanna do with my rear end before I get tips put on. I might swap it out for a newer 06 rear end. If not I have to make my own cut outs for the tips. Probably gunna ditch this Magnaflow kit also. I had little experience at the time with this car so I went with what fits.

I came up with a slick DIY tinted lens deal. I might post it on here sooner or later.
Basically just dyed the stock ambers in RIT dye. Black of course, and it turned out killer!

One thing I need to do is replace this terrible tint... lol! Its been bubbling for years but with so much other stuff on my mind thats the last thing I need to worry about. Plus I need a stupid Dr's permit for tint on the front drivers and passenger windows in this god awful state.

I seen this car on loads of websites and its pretty much the stance I must accomplish!
