  • New guy from France

    Stanceworks forums,

Been hooked to the Stanceworks website for a while now so it was time for me to get on here and say hi!

So yes, I'm french living in France currently working on an... american car. (grass is always greener on the other side as they say ) It's a custom '54 Chevy so it's out of topic here.

But my neighbor wants to sell me his mint BMW E21 (518 I think) so I was wondering if it would good with a treatment like those much cherished on this forum.

I haven't seen any but I recently came across of a picture of a BMW 2800 with light blue paint and chrome BBS RSs (picture taken by the extremely talented Mr. Burroughs) and it made want to buy my neighbor's car and try!

    Anyway, here it comes: hi!
    Cheers.

    Engineer.

PS: sorry if my english is "odd"

I thought someone might ask so here goes:

It's a work in progress and will be "black cherry" in a couple of weeks:

And as it was the day I bought it:

        Body mods include:
        2 doors conversion
        Frenched headlights
        Molded grill upper lip
        Rounded & shaved hood
Creation of lip around the front wheel wells (not shown)
        Shaved door handles.
        Extended rear "fins"
        Shaved trunk
        etc...

You can see a step-by-step of the work currently done on my Cardomain page:

        (daily driver is a 2004 Peugeot 407)

Ah! I thought about it but no.
I'm looking for a late '50s - early '60s look so bags would be too much.
It's already dropped 3 inches all over and will eventually be 3 more in the back and 2 in the front.

Thanks for the compliments and the input!

Any idea on an E12 though?
