My name is Ben, I've been lurking for a few years but haven't had anything worth shouting about to be honest as jobs have forced me to have a reliable derv. Had to sell my Saab 9-3 TiD to fund uni so ended up with a 94 A4 Avant TDI that was my mums but she no longer wanted. Had 225k on it but needed quite a bit for the MOT so I scrapped her
and purchased this little banger off of my brothers best friend:




Before distance was an issue I had a TT Supra which I smashed into a lamppost
A 200sx which the head gasket went on and a very Fast & Furious Honda Civic 



Back to the MR2. She's a 1991 UK car with around 144k. Has the T-Bar roof 4 months tax and Test and cost me a grand total of £500!
She's just had a brand new clutch and re-con gearbox, has some replica body kit items which I think are Border front, veilside skirts and a smoothed splitter into the rear bumper. Its has a purple fleck in the paint work which I Can't pick up on my Galaxy note but i'll be home in the next few days so I'll get my Canon 550 out see if I can get some better pictures.
She has a few faults which I will over the next few weeks be sorting and I have no idea what else I want to do with her so all ideas are welcomed!
Faults list:
One alloy needs resealing and a new valve (Now done)
Huge hole in flexi (Now repaired)
Speedo not working (Guessing the cable was broken when clutch and gearbox were done.
Temp gauge not working (think it needs a temp sensor)
No head unit (ordered)
Temperamental pop up light on passenger side
One tyre needs replacing
Heater control unit faulty (replaced but now not blowing hot air???)
Bodywork needs quite a bit of attention all over. See pics.
That's how she stands anyway! Any thought, comments, ideas welcomed good or bad!
