Hi, I'm jack, and I'm the owner of a 1985 VW Golf GL (1.6 Auto). It's only done 20k from new, but has had a few changes from original due to an accident it was in. My aim is to make sure that everything bodywise is standard, and then having extras that I can change out if I ever decide to sell it.
It should have a quad light chrome trimmed grill, so that's on the list of things to buy, and I'm going to get some coilovers and some decent alloys, as generally these cars look better low. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated, I know it looks a bit scabby at the moment as these photos are before the full wash/polish, as it needs a proper polish to get a horrible scrape out the drivers side doors.
