  • 1999 Toyota Avalon? whaaaatt?

Hey guys, im new to this stance game, but ive been following it for a little bit. I recently just bought a car, a 1999 toyota avalon. I know its not the typical car for this kind of work, but i got it for a good price and figured, if people want their cars to be one of kind by stancing and giving their car different looks, why not start with a car that not many have done? maybe start a new trend haha. So im here looking for ideas, as well as help with it. I want it to be a good project but i dont have the biggest budget. Thanks for the help!! I will post some pictures when i have the chance

    Mahalo!

YES! ive been waiting for someone to do up one of these properly. look into VIP styling to draw inspiration from. that style would work really well with this car

Oh cool, I've always thought that these cars had potential.

They share a similar suspension setup with the camry of the same generation, right?

        Like nick said, go VIP!

the more power to you if you can get it done...

Why do you say this? Fortune auto, JIC, tien, and D2/Ksport make coilovers for these cars, and they have a super common lug pattern.

It may take some time and definitely searching for good parts and maybe even getting custom parts, but I'm gonna try my best

What would everyone say is the first thing to invest in? Would you say wheels and tires or what?

Pipe Dream? I'm not a fan of ES300s but there are nice examples. I know the 2nd one to be a S|W Member

Go LOW 1st, then you will know what you have to work with for Wheels and tires.
                    Just my $0.02

I actaully considered this before. Be careful fo the front axle to strut clearance, that is what pushed me away. Even on a lift it has a small amount of clearance. Good luck and i am waiting to see what happens with this.
