Just a regular intro with my 996 C2. I work for a BBK research/development firm and manufacturer, so wanted to get a new daily that was also going to be my track toy. I've owned a multitude of previous cars (mostly Audi) and stanced them (look me up on Audizine). However, after working at the bbk company, I realized I want a form + function stance vehicle so got into a Porsche 996 911 Carrera 2. Plans for the car are as follows

Go fast parts:
- Schnell Intake (installed)
- Fabspeed Headers (installed)
- Fabspeed Muffler Bypass (installed)
- EVOms Tune

- OEM 996 gt3 coilovers (bilstein dampers w/ H&R springs) (purchased)
- Extended stud conversion (purchased)
- 17" Twists w/ Hankook RS3's (track) (purchased)
- 18" Turbo Twists w/ Pilot Sports (daily) (purchased)
- Sparta Evo TS2401 Front BBK 355mm
- Sparta Evo TS2402 Rear BBK 345mm

Interior:
- OMP Steering Wheel
- Reupholster Corbeau FIA approved (purchased)
- Schroth harnesses
- 4 point bolt in roll bar

Exterior:
- Custom 996 duck tail
- Bolt-on fender flares (purchased)

New wheels will happen later as I'd rather put that money into new tires this season, really learn the car on track and then start looking at less rotational/unsprung mass etc. Need to get my driving ability to the limits of the car first.

Hey Guys,

Sorry about the lack of updates, been swamped at work that this project has not been my priority, and the funds were depleted quicker having to have done some maintenance.

Suddenly started seeing low oil pressure out of the M96 motor so dropped it off at a reputable shop up here in the PNW (Chris's German Auto; best Porsche shop up in the PNW, hands down!). But they found that the low oil was caused by a broken bank 1 timing chain tensioner so all of a sudden i had a $3,800 bill to fix that. Well that was all fixed and paid for and I've just been busy driving the car every weekend enjoying it like it's meant to be.

As for the project. Here are some pictures. If you want updates, follow me on Instagram (JohnLee425) as I'm constantly throwing photos up there. But for the widebody, I test fit on multiple universal fender flares and I ***** it. It just did not look good with the original body lines and it made me want to puke.





So after seeing all those different flares on there and ****** how it looked, I sold all of them and ended up pulling the trigger on the TechArt Widebody kit. There was one locally for sale for a 986 (boxster) and the front fit perfectly, but the rear needs some work with the fenders so thats where the wide body sits at this current time. Oh and here's what wheels I will be running. The OEM 996 TT widebody wheels.

Finally picked up the wheels from my paint guy. Now to start working on the widebody flares.

- OEM GT3 Bilstein Coilovers
- Custom Adjustable Rear sway endlinks
- Schnell Intake (installed)
- Custom 18" Twists in BMW Art theme

- Roll Bar
- Tires
