  • New to here . Old school BMW nut.

Not new to the seen but new to here. Always had E30's and other bmw's from
back in the mid 90's , Starting a new project to try to relive my younger days.
Looking forward to getting some new ideas for this project.

My 2014-15 project is to start off as a 84 e28 533i all original 49k car.
I know some people might not be happy with me modding a car like that
but anything i do will be replaceable back to stock if needed some day.
Plans are as of now , full GC coilovers, shortened, Rotiform 3pc wheels in 18's and
a bumper tuck of some sort or a euro bumper conversion.

Here are some pics of what im starting off with and were i came from. hope you like.

    The E28:

    My 88 M3 ( First bmw back in 94 )

My 91 M3 ( second and most memorable BMW )

    After that came my 91 325is s52 E30

    And last My e53 X5.

Thanks. Full stance with custom 18" wheels for now, don't want to get to crazy with it in case I
Need to go back to original to start another project.

LOL thanks George, Im going with coilovers cause i cant over modify the car its self.
I spoke with ground control and there making me a custom set that are shorter then
the normal ones so i should have around a 3.5 inch drop from what im told. I have a
74 benz that i going to bag after the E28 is done.

Awesome bro, GC is the way to go. KW's are junk in my opinion. I have KW's on both my e30 and e46. One sleeve on my e30 is totally corroded and one collar on my e46 broke. KW has plastic collars which make absolutely no fvcking sense at all. GC's collars are aluminum or steel, good stuff.

Looks like you have a great starting point on the E28. Clean car with a BBS rear spoiler!!! Can't wait to see progress, make sure you keep this thread updated or text me pics.

Yea the old school lambo look alike wheels. Not sure how they'll flow with the E28 body lines. But first, tuck those damn diving boards in already!!!! lol
