    Hey guys,

It's been about two yeas since I've been on SW and a lot has changed since then. Went through several cars in and out, had plenty of fun in between and built some really wild and out motors in the process.

My most recent toy is the culmination of me selling my 08 Evo MR and my S13 for a more family friendly vehicle. Something I can put the kids in after school, an 04 G35 coupe.

As with any of my toys I can't afford to wait around so I immediately started putting some money into it to build it up to spec. About three sets of wheels, none of which were wide enough for me came and went. 18x8.5 with 10mm spacers, 19x9.5 which were too small for me, and finally my 20x9 and 20x10.5's. I snagged something with a low offset and proceeded to wrap them in rubber. It had some poke, but the 235/35 and 255/35 profile didn't sit well with me and after a bit of curb rashing and clear coat peeling I decided to go back to the drawing board, out with the old I said.

While the wheels were off I sent them to my friend to powder coated two tone. In the downtime I sucked up some cash and threw down for some F&F coils, dialed them down a good 1.5" and left the camber alone. With the wheels approaching completion I decided what better way to get into spring/summer than to lower the car more and tweak the camber a bit. In comes the rear camber adjustment, a -2 or even -3 on these cars isn't anything noticeable at first. To get the right stretch though I'm contemplating what would be the most effective on this ride. A mild stretch would be nice, maybe some 235/35 in the rear and 225/35 in the front? I just will need to roll and pull the fenders AGAIN so that I can tuck these under. She'll stay static for a while until I get the money for the brake upgrade and then I'll switch to bag over coil setup.

So much work to be done, certainly can't wait to show it off once it's done. If anyone's got suggestions on some nice tires let me know. I've tried searching around on tyrestretch and bimmer forums and even the G forums. Always curious to see other people's opinions. Don't worry I already used the "Search" function. I'm not that much of a noob.

    Cheers
