  • New here, nothing special!

Hey! So, I figured that since I had created a FS thread that I might as well introduce myself. My name is Matt, I live in SoCal, and I'm a mechanical engineering student.

I've had my share of cars, but nothing really extraordinary. No stance, not much flash, but I likes to keep em clean. I recently sold my 2003 Evo VIII while I'm putting myself through college, and picked up a 2003 BMW e39 touring with sport trim. It's not fast. At all. But it's nice. My buddy and I (He did the majority of the work) just bagged it, and I'm very happy with stepping a little further away from soccer mom status..

Any way, pictures of the Evo, and the wagon:

Right before the Evo was shipped to its new owner

My buddy's e61 and my e39 the day we bagged it.

And lastly, a picture after being bagged and actually washed.

    Thanks for looking!

Dude for some reason those oem wheels look so good on that thing get some spacers and you have a perfect OEM look.

I'm really digging those wheels too! Spacers and maybe polish them and it'll be perfect!

The wagon looks great with the OEM wheels, I would have to agree with kittenpuncher space them out a bit and you'll be set.

Oh and I'm in love with your Evo. I have the biggest soft spot for them, especially in white. Too bad you had to sell it. :/

            Thanks everyone!

I was surprised by how good it looked dumped on the stock 17s. Though I would like to go up to 18s. I was thinking about sizing up a set of style 19s, or going with some M Parallels.

The evo was a labor of love. It was a pile when I bought it, and as soon as I got it to where I wanted it, I made a tough call to sell it. It was the smart, right thing to do for now.

We're going to get the wagon to sit lower aired out by spinning the fronts down, and cutting the rear bump stops. e39s have always been my favorite, and being a wagon makes it that much better... Even though I thought I'd be unique, that wasn't the case in Santa Barbara. EVERYONE drives a god damn e39 touring. But I've only seen two that looked as good or better than mine. But that's okay!
