Well im new here. Im Josh im 18, and have been building , 96 honda civic hatch, for almost two years now. I got it as a shell and worked my way from there. considering the fact that i was a high school student and will be going into college pretty soon, dont expect to be blown away by this build thread. I am "balling on a budget". i cant really figure out how to post pictures yet, or this thread would be picture heavy. If someone could help me with that, my pics surpass the pic memory

well those were basically the only photos that i others had from then to when i got it running. i basically found another hatch thats chasis forced it to be totaled so i managed to buy it off the guy for cheap to just strip it , even the engine, to just throw onto mine. i had a bunch of help from my older cousins and uncle who influenced me to get into the honda game. Just to let everyone know, i decided to blow all the money i had saved into a building a car instead of purchasing one. but anyway heres the giant leap from the shell to getting it running. i painted it oem black and tried making it as stock as possible with it looking clean so here are the pics. keep in mind its a 96 so i did the 99-00 facelift [IMG][/IMG]

well i moved to colorado from california in the summer of 2013 which brought a lot of fun and everything. but the move didnt disrupt the build and neither did crashing it. it sat in the garage for nearly all of winter until she was dropped from the jack stands[IMG][/IMG]

so basically instead of crying and bitching, i took this to my advantage and started my winter build for the 2014 season.
i first started on wheels. i am a part time worker at target with plenty of builds to pay so dont expect much from certain things.so i began on my wheels
i got a set of xxr 002 15x9 +0 all the way around wrapped in toyo t1rs 195/45/15
Being all new to the Stance world, i didnt really have a "mentor" to guide me through a lot of things so i had to figure stuff out, hence the mexiflush fitment as you will see in the near future[IMG][/IMG]

With the wheels being ready to be put on i began to fiber glass, bondo, and paint everything that was needed to be from the accident and finally got the car rolling again. the harness of the foglights were ripped out of the bumper when i crashed just to explain why the holes are in the front bumper while the car was on hover mood i bought little things like a ktuned short shifter, type r shift boot, ktuned shift knob, si cluster, ctr rear lip, and i think theyre EDM clear tail lights. here are the results
