MERCEDES BENZ CLS - New Member from Austria

Hello Guys,

i want to introduce myself..
My Name is Alan, I´m 21 years old, living in Austria and driving a 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS 350 CDI

This is my fourth car, my previous cars were an Audi A3 1999, VW Passat 3B 2000 Highline, a BMW E60 2004 and now this Mercedes.
My first two cars (the Audi and the VW) I drove stock, everything started with my E60, dropped it down with KAW-Springs, put OEM M6-wheels (8,5 x 19 ET17 / 9,5 x 19 ET12 with 245/35/19 / 275/30/19) on it, and some smaller Details like: black kidneys, black window-trim (shadow-line), painted lights in the back (made them all red), some painting in the interior (made every plastic-part pianoblack), bigger exhaust-tips and some light-stuff - nothing Special..
Then i sold it to a good friend and bought my CLS
My CLS is pretty stock, have just lowered it (it has AIRMATIC), it has another 19 Inch wheels on it, got it cleaned in the interior, some other xenon-bulbs, and now im planning on "wrapping" it with a Camouflage-Vinyl.

What do you think about it? Worth of posting it on Stanceworks?

Looking forward to the progress on the CLS, but not too sure about the camo-wrap. Seems a bit of classy car for that. Interested to see if you can pull it off well. Your E60 was nice and clean.

thanks R2dmax, planning on a "digital Camouflage" wrap, have seen it on some other cars like A6 Avant, BMW E90,.. but have also the same on my mind like you - the CLS seems to be too classy for it, but we will see, found a guy in bosnia who is wrapping cars, he would do it for EUR 350,- and this is quite cheap.

Next Thing would be to get a black headliner (like the one BMW offers for the m-package) - but I have two problems, Mercedes didnt make black ones for the CLS and for getting out the headliner I would need to get out the wind-Screen :/

Nice Benz bud. are you going to re wire the air matic system so you can control it by a hand held controller or leave it as is? camo vinyl on a new model Benz seems more original then the chrome wrap you ALWAYS see around the place

thx.. I have lowered the airmatic already, but planning on going lower (have to call Mercedes about doing it via "STERNDIAGNOSE") those Hand Held controller´s are very expensive over here..
About wrapping it: i think I´ll do it next month
