  • What up!

Figured Id join in on the fun.

I daily a Bagged Chevy Cruze.

Been a pain in the behind but worth it. Everything has been fabbed for this car, hubs and rotors have been redrilled from 5x105(dafuq) to 5x110 to fit normal wheels rather than cheesy looking motegis with horrid offset.

I got the car for a daily about a year and a half ago with intentions of keeping it stock and enjoying the gas mileage on my 130 mile round trip to work Monday through Friday. But, that got boring quick. Started off with performance work, ZZP Intake, ZZP Catless mid-pipe and a Trifecta Tune, been wanting to do the ZZP Downpipe and ZZP Front mount kit.

That got boring so I got some H&R Springs that didnt lower my car much, little did I know the ECO version of the Cruze already has a .5" drop on it, along with forged aluminum wheels, tha'ts kinda cool.

That just wasn't enough. So, I started saving for some wheels, was gonna go with Rotiform NUE's, then decided to go with MRR Wheels, but they wouldn't work with me in making a set for my lug pattern. So, I said screw it and ordered some XXR 531's in 19x8.5 +35 and once those came in, we re-drilled everything and fitted them on. Heated the front spring to bring it down a little bit and rode like that for a little while.

Wasn't low enough. So, I started ordering random bits and pieces combined with stuff I had laying around and pieced together everything needed for an Air-ride kit. The rear was simple due to the solid axle and divorced springs and shocks. I just fabbed up some upper and lower bag mounts in place of the stock springs and mounted them with the stock shocks. The front... The front has been a constant battle that started off with some Miata air struts with the OE bearing. We scrapped that idea pretty quick and started with some modified struts and Aerosport universal strut bags, That lasted a couple months before failing and now I'm on some modified air cylinders which seem to be working just fine for me.

Sadly though, Ive come to the point where I don't know what to do next. I want to do some paintwork to it, but still in the process of figuring out what. I don't want to go with some different wheels and maybe some lower offset. But, I'm at a loss right now.

    Enough talking, here's some pictures.

    Shortly after I bought it:

After window tint and some green accents:

    After springs and wheels:

I bought a Chevy Cruze because of your vid on youtube

I want to stance my 2013 Cruze. But I have never worked on cars before and I was looking at my wheel wells and they are really shallow. I was wondering if you had to modify yours at all or do you just rub really bad?
