I've been reading SW for quite a time, but finally decided to register here.
I'm 21, I'm from Latvia and this E36 is my second car. And actually first serious one. Currently I'm on exchange studies in Portugal and really miss my car, which probably is reason why I finally decided to register here.
So what it's all about for me? Well, the car is not a daily driver for me, because I simply don't need it [in whole 2013 it clocked just below 3000km, lol], but I'm technical person, so it's like big toy for me.
What's in my mind for this one?
1) Replace crappy dual mass M52 flywheel with single mass setup from M20. This is in progress, I already have single mass flywheel bought, lightened and balanced. This is first job to complete when getting back home from Portugal.
2) Getting it down to ground. Can't decide about this one - to go with coilovers or simple spring and sport shock setup. Anyway, this tractor must be lowered.
3) Strut braces - front and back. Obligatory.
4) Probably some poly bushrings. Not sure about this one, I want to keep car relatively comfortable.
5) Exhaust - I want it louder
Further plans may include [but definitely is not limited to]:
1) LTW spoiler on the trunk.
2) BMW oem Style 21 Throwing Star rims. Staggered setup.
3) Deep-dish steering wheel.
4) Some nice bucket seats.
