  • Introducing Myself, Not Your Typical Teenager (56k, Don't Bother)

With a little bit of Gold and a Paaaager.

Anyways. My name's Skipper. I'm 19. I live in ATL, and love it. Been here all my life.

Here's my cars. I'm not biased towards makes, and have a soft spot for anything automotive related. I love wrenching and love crusing. None of my stuff is stanced, (well, yet) but you might like some of it. I might be getting a little e30 for dailying soon, as my commute's gotten longer, and I have nothing that gets above 15 MPG. lol.

When I was 10 years old, my grandfather gave me his '63 f100 pickup, and it needed some substantial work. This is what it looked like when I first got my hands on it.

Pretty rough. Anyways, my father guided me through it, and we did an entire frame off resto. Everything was done in my garage. Paint, Bodywork, Engine Assembely, everything. Here's a couple pics through the build.

Still needs to be lowered, and we're currently on the hunt for steelie/whitewall combo. Probably just going to get a 3/5 drop, not really wanting to chop up the frame.

My daily driver is an 03' Lightning. A lot of bolt ons, just a reliable little truck.

My Offroad toy, (I am in GA, right?) is a '72 M35A2. Otherwise known as a Duece and a Half. Or, if you're my girlfriend, you call it a Dueche and a Half. It's pretty stock, we've made a dash for it, 2 peice wheels, 46" tires, a lot of little stuff. Registered and driven weekly. I used to drive it to work if the weather wasn't too hot.

I've also had a few bikes, but sadly just sold one of my favorites, my KZ550. It never ran right...ever. Imagine a .5 Liter motor running 4 individual carbs. Tuning was such a nightmare, so I got out of it. I'll get back on one when I'm older and little wiser when it comes to carbs on bikes.

Anyway guys, glad to be here, and love the content on here. Keep doing work, and I hope to be on yall's level some day.

    Peace.

Haha, yeah. I don't even want to talk about how much sanding and sealing that took. When your 12 years old, that felt like it lasted months.

Preach that shit to someone else.

I just paid off all 17 thousand off my loan for my Lightning by digging ditches for an entire summer (when I'm not attending college) for 84 hours a week, going on three years now. The truck was free, and all the work was done by us for parts only. The duece was 3,500, split by me and my father. And the bike was cheap as well, paid for by myself.

Sorry I drive nice shit that I've worked for.
