As for the wheel bearing issue...

While it is true that extreme low offsets or big spacers add some stress and wear to the bearing, it will not destroy them instantly like those people tend to tell.

Imo, just let them talk. Nowadays I don't even respond to fucks like these who have no idea what they're talking about and just want to spout shit because they don't understand.

i think the level of engineering on an f1 car might be slightly higher compared to the family sedans and hatches we so lovingly stance... dont get me wrong, im on your side of the fight here but somthing like that seems a bit irrelevant in such an argument

Well I can't help you on your quest for a better answer but I just needed to tell you that your wife's van is awesome. If it was bagged or lowered MORE it would be like it came straight out of Japan.

It is lowered, trust me.


It's almost impossible to get a Eurovan to tuck tire, but I am on bumpstops in front and have 3/4" travel left in back. It's lowered a couple of inches.

Racing/track fanboys will pop up frequently and claim that lipped wheels are the work of satan and anyone with them must be stupid. A photo of Formula 1 wheels tends to shut them up:

Hi guys,

I'm new here but I've been doing this for around 15 years. I've had adapters for Porsche wheels on my cars since 1998 and up to 40mm spacers/adapters ever since. I know you all must get this stupid question, but when idiots flame you because spacers and low offsets "must be really bad on wheel bearings", what is the best answer to shut them up? I've never had to replace a wheel bearing on a car due to spacing and I've driven 200k+ miles on cars with 25mm+ spacing, but every time I post in another forum, there is always that one guy (or two guys) that insist on the fact that I am ruining my bearings. I can't take it anymore and need a better arguement than, "you're guessing this is the case and I have 200k experience to prove otherwise."
