Hi Guys, after searching on Google for an hour or so I think this probably the best forum for me to post my question.
I have a 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider, it's currently on aftermarket 3-Piece 20" wheels, Front : 9x20 (235/30/20 Continental), Rear : 10.5x20 (285/30/20 Dunlop). (Original 360 wheels are 18")
Current 20" wheels were refurbed back in April last year, but as it's a daily driver all has gone wrong & the outer lips have the powder coating bubbling off / peeling now. So ... rather that get these refurbished again, i imported some new '360 Forged' wheels from the US, same size again 9x20 & 10.5X20.
Being a bit tight at the moment, i went for some Nankank NSII's for the new wheels (front & rear - same sizes as before (235/30/20 & 285/30/20). Both have now been fitted - Rears fit perfectly, but fronts are seriously stretched and look really wrong (on a Ferrari) with an (appx.) 10mm gap between the end of the tyre and the end of the outer lip on the wheel (both sides). The current wheels (same size tyres / wheels have about a 2mm gap both sides ... ie. just a small stretched look).
The new front's are exactly the same size rim as before, same size tyres too ... Just don't understand why i now have a massive gap between the edge of the tyre and the rim.
Any thoughts more than welcome, I haven't got any pics at the moment but more than willing to take some tomorrow and upload them.
Dave
