  • Oh hey guys, I'm Danny.

I'm not actually into the stretch and poke thing myself, but I think it looks good on some cars and I'd like some spacer advice. So I figured this is the place to be.

Here's a few shots of the car:

First off, I'm on H&R race springs and looking at installing 15mm drop hats up front.

The wheels are 16x7 et28 Alpinas with 215/45/16 Kumho Xs tires. The fenders are currently untouched, and I'm wondering what I can do spacer wise with no roll and a flat roll. I've been told 15mm with no roll, and that's about it.

    Opinions?

there is no way to tell from pictures, take a tape measure to the fender and figure it out.

      oh and welcome

oh and from what ive been told and seen, its damn near impossible to roll e30 fenders since they are so thick, a dude i met told me the only way to get any real clearance is to cut.

well.. hes wrong, you can roll them. Cutting is an option too, but avlast resort IMO

id measure it, but 12 up front and 20 oit back, and drop hats or a cut coil up front and shed sit nice and pretty

Measure the space and that will tell you what to do. Cutting really is a last resort though. Fresh bimmer none the less. I like the color.

                          Teehee.

                          I finished my s50 swap.

                          Here we go.

                          Car sideways in the garage:

Then we took off the hood n ****.

The nipple on my S50's manifold broke, so I had to get creative.

Then Ibarra (tangekenboo2 <3) showed up and we really started working.

Making a call to get another 17mm wrench.

                          Driveshaft being disconnected.

                          Motor on its way out.

                          Yay its out.

                          High front end lol.

Obligatory gangsta empty engine bay shot.

Brother in law helping me prep the s50 for install.

Oh hey what's that in there?

                          Let's look closer.

                          OH IT'S A S50

Here's a little video of the first run after the exhaust shop. Ignore the car dying, I had to adjust the throttle cable a touch.

It sounds way better now as well, I had to tighten my spark plugs.
