My name is Chris, and I **** doing forum introductions. With that being said, I have an 1985 Mustang GT. I know what you're thinking, is this idiot going to cut his control arms? The answer would be no, so don't ban me just yet. I've had this car for a little over two years and my main goal is to try and set it apart from every other Foxbody out there. I like subtle but clean modifications, and Stance is a part of it. The car is lowered, but nowhere near what most on the site would find intriguing. In fact, most would call it a 4x4, Wahhhh. Anyways. I look forward to seeing what kind of ideas I can use from somewhere outside of a Mustang forum. Oh, and... 'MERICA. <- I do have a Mustang after all..

post some pics!!!. I'm in the same boat with you, dropped my 96 Camaro but it's still a 4x4 too haha. Raceland makes coilovers for your car, if your looking to drop it on the cheap it might be the way to go.

Race land, sounds cheap. haha I already have Koni D/A shocks and struts with Griggs coilovers done up front. The rear has Maximum Motorsports adjustable perch control arms.

(crappy) Picture posted. I just got the car back from paint a week or so ago, and I have yet to go and get good pics.

The car is staying silver/charcoal (Obviously, I just had it painted, right? haha). I have a set of 3 piece Stern Reverse Face II's on the was from Japan, so cool wheels are in its future. But I also like my 03/04 Cobra's, so I'll probably switch them out every so often. Either way, they are 17x9 et24 square running 235/45/17 BFG G-Force KDW.

Car currently has Maximum Motorsports Panhard Bar, (Soon to be installed) Torque Arm, Rear Lower Control Arms, Caster/Camber Plates, Subframe Connectors, and Solid Steering rack bushings. It also has a 2003 Cobra Steering rack and front 13" brakes, Koni Yellow Double Adjustable shocks/struts, (front) Griggs Coilovers with hypercoil springs.

Engine is the stock (as far as I know) bottom end with Edelbrock heads, FMS SVO 1.6 Roller Rockers, Anderson Ford Motorsport N41 Cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake, Edelbrock 1405 Carb, Underdrive Pullies, JBA Shorty headers, Mac Pro-Chamber (catless) mid-pipe, Spintech Super Pro-Street Mufflers. I have a Vortech A-trim superchager I am gathering parts for at the moment. A friend of a friend also has a 331 short block he is looking to get rid of for a screaming deal. Either way, it'll be fun.

I've had the car for two years and I dont plan to let it go any time soon. It was bone stock when I got it, and I've done everything to it on my own. I did slam the front when I first installed the coilovers, but the ride suffered, it handled like crap, was terrible to drive and I would have had to use spacers to use my 17x9s, so back up it went. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics when it was low. Ultimately, slamming it is not my goal, people have done that and its not practical. My car is and will be set up to drive.
