  • Audi Coupe V6 from North Wales, UK

    Hi all

Ive been visiting this cool site for a while now admiring the cars, so I thought Id post up a few pics of my new project.

I picked this coupe up from a mate a few months ago, it was in good nick but Ive done a lot of work to it.

Its lowered on 60mm, hardly in the league of some monster cars on this site, but I like the stance. The rear tyres are 235 to give it a fatter look at the back.

I had to change the rear bumper as it had been hacked about, botch job really. I will need to paint it again as the paint is the wrong shade.

Ive added some white clocks to it, these are the original vdos with new faces, live it.

And in the night, sorry for poor pic. Have added LED's behind heater blowers. As can be seen two of the bulbs on the lower vdo's have fused....will need to change these soon.

I need to source a leather interior for it, and if im lucky a nardi sterring wheel.

Id also like to put some 15" deep dish alloys on her for the winter, and keep the immolas for summer only...btw plans are to paint the immolas white.

Thanks for reading, look forward to sharing more and learning from this cool site.

    Cheers

    Yodaboy :-)

Thankyou. They are getting rarer in the UK.

This is my 4th coupe, Ive been lucky to have cq10v, cq20v and two 2.6 V6....I miss not having quattro on this coupe, but on the other hand I dont drive it silly around the Welsh Hills for fear of driving it into a hedge :-)

At first I wasn't a big fan of the smoked lights in the front, but that last picture made me change my mind

It took me a long time to decide whether to tint them, but glad I did now.

I just wanted it to be a bit different, the next job will be to apply the same tint to the rear lights....thats a more complex job.

Again thanks for the comments and interest :-)
