Hello all! Name is Rey, hailing from the land of sun, beaches, fake boobs, and boring roads, also known as Miami. After a while of searching and passing a few up for various reasons, I finally got my hands on a car I have loved since I was a kid. It is a '91 190E 2.3 auto, 189k, 441 - Desert Taupe (first one I see in this color out of the many I have gone to look at) with 175 - Cream Interior. It needs some minor TLC, but a very clean car otherwise. It may not be a 16V (although I'll inevitably buy one one day), but I honestly like the styling on the non-16V W201s much better. Words cannot express how stoked I am to finally own one! I have a few plans for the car, of which I am still designing. But you know, the usual.

I already have a set of wheels for her, period correct (and the only 5x112 set that I have EVER seen) Gotti G1001s, 17x9.5 et32 all around.

And just for the record, I know the username doesn't hold true, but I like to think ahead.

Lol... I need to figure out what route I'm going with the suspension first - bolt on struts and springs, may have to lob a coil off to get it to where I want it, or piece together an air ride kit, as there are none available. I may go with the latter, as it will be a funner project. This isn't my daily, do I don't care how long I have it out of commission while I figure out the air, and design and fabricate brackets and any other tidbits.

Hey Patrick! Still have the mk6, just keeping it stockish and using it strictly for visiting clients and baby transport. I've always wanted a 190E, so it worked out great. Thanks again for the amazing job you guys did on these wheels!

It has been a LONG while since I posted (yikes over a year), and not much has been done since then, since I had a son come into this world and working for myself occupies most of my time. But anyway... a few things have been ordered for this project, such as all of the parts needed for my air ride management, Euro headlamps (which unfortunately came mismatched one Bosch unit and one Hella unit), and I came across a set of 4 pot Brembo front calipers off of a W215 CL600 (identical to the calipers on a W203 C32 AMG sans the AMG logo) that I couldn't pass up. I don't need the extra stopping power yet, but the price was just too good to pass up. I'll try to keep this thread updated as things happen, which is at a really damn slow pace.

I know that feeling! I still havent done much to mine either. Ended up buying a W210 (daily driver) as well and been trying to get it right too.
