  • My intro and history (VW heavy, Merc and BMW)

Hi guys, I'm Greg from Louisville. Who cares, here is my stance history:

    Got this for $1,000

A little spit shine and i ended up with this

ABA, TT header, g60 transmission hydro VR clutch, lightened 1.8t flywheel, custom 2.5" to a Borla, ST coilovers, 20th recaro seats front and rear

Did the Dayton thang on my coupe

Built VR, corrado seats, full wire tucked bay on racelands, 16x7 chrome Dayton 100 spokes with 205/40 falken 512s

    My 4 door

    Stock 8v, 16x8.5/9.5 OZ fittipaldi Fittistars, 205/40 and 215/40 falken 512s

    91 16v Passat VR

Full b4 obd2 wiring in and out, ST coilovers

    And currently:

190e 8v 5 speed. Custom intake, 320e springs cut, bilstein yellow struts. Had Borbet Type E 17x8, and had 17x8 mustang wheels as well.

And the reason I'm here is to get opinions on suspension for my wife's car.

97 BMW 318i with 124k on it. Runs and looks brand new. We don't want it dumped, just lowered a bit in 17s. I've seen a few mid range coilovers with camber plates, and I've seen some cheap ones with out them. Racelands and camber plates? Or just get a mid range coilover that includes them?

Welcome, you seem to love the coilover/ wheel route mandatory for each car, start that way with the beamer and you'll fall in love! I run raceland coilovers on both of my vw's, i replaced all the control arms at the same time and the axles, no issues.

I bought the red golf because the Fittipaldis wouldn't fit on my Jetta. It was a $300 car so I couldn't resist.

I'll probably look around before I buy racelands for the baby hauler. I'd like to have adjustable dampening
