Hey everyone,
Another mkv GTI guy joining up. I've creeped here for a long time, but decided to register since I am about to install air on my car. Some specs on my car as it sits:
2006, with leather/nav
APR Stage II programming
3", cat-less, turbo-back APR Stealth exhaust
B&G RS2 coilovers
OEM 19x8.5 Audi A8 wheels
BFI PCV Block Off and Catch Can
EVOMS intake
And a few other insignificant goodies.
Here is a picture:
The Air Ride kit I am picking up is coming out of a 2013 Golf R, and It's from a local car. For 1500$ I am getting:
airlift Autopilot v2 kit (Slam series front and back, plus Double Bellow Rears)
5 gallon Aluminum slim tank
444c compressor (I think I will be adding a 2nd)
air/water separator
3/8" lines
Frame/hatch set up already for a mkv
Im very very very new to the air ride scene, but from what I can tell (and from what others have told me) this is a very good deal.
I also plan on adding an accessory air hose for tire filling/blowing nozzle after it's all in.
Any advice/comments would be more than welcome if you see something wrong with this set up. Especially regarding the fact that I'll be doing this with 19's haha.
