    Driver’s point of view

Had a super quick semi-spontaneous photoshoot as it got dark... IPhone doesn’t pick up light too well but I made due, the real camera was home...

Thanks man! I really needed to drive it tonight to reignite the fire to tear it down... I love it, it makes such an awesome noise when in the gas, and drives so well.

I bet it does with that LS! I'd love to do an LS swap into something eventually..

DO IT! You will love it!! It's awesome! I can tool around at 1300-1800rpm all day in 5th, get pretty decent gas milage, then drop a gear or 3 and it rips! The torque is awesome for just putting around... I can idle in a parking lot without touching the gas, and it be like "la la la,"she don't care...

Haha I know the feeling. I built the L6 in my Cherokee and it got mistaken for a SBC with the sound and power. I could line up with some of the cars in my area and walk them easily. Next to the LSX, the AMC L6 is my favorite block. If I pull of an E30 some time next year maybe I'll shoehorn an LSX in there...

I think it's crazy the difference in the driving styles of my e30 vs my truck. The M42 (it's cammed and has a ported and polished head) has power, but it's literally pulling it's hardest popping the limiter, and under 4k revs, there's not a lot going on... So if I go down a fav country road its spinning pretty good the whole time... But the LS needs no revving to make good power, it's happy at anything over bout 1200, but it will push you back in the seat pretty good at 2k revs... So I can basically idle around (compared to the M42) and that is pretty quick...
