  • From New Brunswick Canada living in Alberta

I suppose it's about time I subscribe to stanceworks. I've been lurking on the forum for quite some time now.

I'm 26 years old, grew up in New Brunswick Canada and now I moved to Fort McMurray Alberta Canada to advance in my career. Bought a house up here and hoping to be able to build my detached garage next summer.

so all my projects are advancing really slowly because of the lack of space right now ...

I have a 1982 bmw 320i e21 with the Crappy M10. It broke down on me lately so I bought a 1984 e28 to daily drive during this winter.

    e21

    e28

Plans for these 2 are to :

take all the suspention components, subframe, Differential, disc brakes, ect. from the e28 and swap it all to the e21.

I'm also looking alot into engine swaps (85% sure it won't be BMW engine)
    Aiming for 400rwhp.

then I have a 1980 jetta that I am doing a complete ground up restoration with my girlfriend
(this is the crappy garage I'm working in for now)

and then I have an 84 jetta td that I'm just finishing up refreshing everything under the hood. That will be my girlfriends Daily Driver

(here it is with the 80 jetta before we took it all appart)

I will be doing build threads whenever I really get into it ...

I kept all my nice parts off my old mk1 I had and they're all going on the one we're doing me and my gf ... it will basically look like my old one but Inarisilber in color

thanks ! can't wait either ... but it will be the e21 putting down that power ... with all the e28 drivetrain swapped in,... i am thinking i will swap in a 1jz .. cause that's just what makes more sense ... but i could also build a stroker m20 and turbo it ... but would be old technology and more money then swapping the 1jz ... I'm still undecided yet but i can't wait

Ugh. Your E21 is money. You just can't go wrong with epsilons.

thanks ... altho I probably will have to either put em on my mk1 or sell them ... cause when I swap in everything from the e28 I'll have 4 wheel disc and 5x120 lug pattern ... and the wheelbase of the e28 is (don't quote me on this) something like 1" wider ...

so the epsilon are sitting pretty flush + a little poke right now ... and to make em fit after I would need to add 4x100 to 5x120 adapters... that + the larger wheel base would require custom wide fenders to make the rear fit ... then the front would be too narrow and look odd ... still undecided on what I'll be doing with them yet.

that e21 is really nice! I love how the mk1-mk2-mk3-mk4 jetta, you can literally take your thumb to the picture (near the rear end) and it'll cut it off and you'll see the same counterpart golf. hahah awesome.

Love the color on your e21. The eps are sick but you need a larger tire up front.
