Newb from CLE with B5 action

Whats goodie? Names Marko, been creeping on stanceworks for a while. I made an account finally (like every other newb story so ill spare everything else!) so heres my car. Its a 99' GLX Passat, I'm taking her to H2Oi this year. Sorry for the photo quality if it's not up to par, they were taken by some good friends of mine but i will have some better ones (hopefully vids too ^_^) after H2O this year! Some new parts that are on the to-do list euro trunk, euro tails, custom interior & other rare finds. The car runs really well and has 191k on the ticker. This is how it sits right meow. I made it to my liking and the wheel choice works really well, I think overall the car is really good looking hope you like it too. It'll be a pleasure to get to know some of you! I'll maybe post in the other section once I get some professional shots but thanks for viewing!

thank you daniel! and kittypuncher (hope u really dont do that cuz i got one :p) im at 17th-18th street baltimore ave thats where ill be sleeping at motel there, but ill try to go to the "G2G's" down there and whatever else is going on! I'm actually meeting up with a guy who will bring me a euro trunk and euro tails to h2o for me from NJ so i dont have to drive all the way out there :P! shout out to mike lol!

Love the Porsche wheels and how it sits.
Just needs colour matched lower bumpers and skirts.. Then it would be super clean.

Hello slammed, i honestly was the same way. I like them to be color matched how you'd see on a B6 audi for example if its not all one color it looks older. But this car, i wanted to be a little different and keep the bottoms as is and offset the look and additionally try to make it loaded with as many euro options as I can. It comes like that factory (B5's) with the side molding strips looking like that (black to match the bottoms) They come with the stubby mirror in 98' on these cars, mine didn't include it but for kewl points im putting one on, and its heated so nothing is lost but everything gained :P (well, besides possible vision out of the baby mirror). I scored it in the same color (satin silver)! Essentially, once I install the euro trunk, euro tails, and the stubby mirror it'll look like a euro model without someone knowing. Next after all this is some work on the interior, its just now black. Thanks for your compliments!

I've seen the color match on satin silver, it loosk clean but not for me i guess if i had a different color but here is a member here whos on AMG monoblocks;

For sure man, where you usually go where you hang out? I'm unfortunately stuck working until literally thursday of h2oi where i have to literally jump in the car and roll out when i wake up since i work nights it'll probably not be til 5pm i leave, which will make me show up early in the AM friday! You going to headlands this year? You going to dyno thing sunday in colombus? I have to miss the dyno thing but im definitely gona make it to headlands!

Was doing menchies in Avon on Thursdays but missed a few weeks in a row and not sure who all still goes. Can't wait for h2o - leave early wed

Yeah i heard about menchies. I just work wed-sat's 7pm to 7am basically and its impossible to do anything inbetween time unless i switch with the only other night guy so I have to deal. Hopefully this winter just blows by I don't even wana think about all the salt and freezing weather Cleveland has to offer.

Nice ride MarkoE500! You're making me miss home. I'm from Cleveland Heights, been in NC for a while now. I wanted the Porche Twists for my Audi. They look good on your Passat.
