Hi all,
I've occasionally dropped by these forums to read some of the excellent build threads here when they get linked to elsewhere, and finally thought perhaps it was time I joined up.
Before I get into much detail on my current car, here's a few I've had in the past:
2000 Mazda MX-5 - Vogtland Springs and KYB AGX shocks all round - nothing too over the top by the standards of this forum, but it sure hung onto the road well

1993 Ford Fairmont - King Springs Superlows, KYB shocks, Whiteline 32mm swaybar (front), manual... built for smashing down dirt roads flat out sideways. When I got rid of it I had to part it out as the chassis rails were trapezoidal from scraping/bottoming out mid corner.

Current daily: 1998 BMW E39 540i Automatic (because we didn't get any manuals in Australia bar the M5) - Yes, I know it's a boat (for now). Plans are (eventually) for Racing Dynamics RD2 wheels (19") and coilovers; manual conversion, LSD and probably an ESS supercharger kit.

Car I built for my wife: 1995 Nissan R33 Skyline GTS-T Auto (she wants it converted to manual) - 19" wheels, Apex`i N1 coilovers with 8kg fr/rr.

Aaand finally; the project - it's been on the go for three and a half years so far. 1979 BMW E21 323i. Cut springs (for now), Cut front swaybar (whoops
) Custom trans tunnel etc to fit 4L inline 6 from the EB above. The I6 is actually from a 2000ish AU Falcon and is rebuilt/cammed up etc to make a decent amount of power.

When I find the time I'll post a proper build thread on the E21, but for now I've got an existing post-by-post blog at www.e21build.com - if you feel you've got the time to do some reading, you can start at the very first post (http://www.e21build.com/2010/03/car.html)
