  • New to here e30 323i

Hey guys, new to here thought i would introduce myself. This is my car, been working on it myself the past year, its a 1983 e30 323i coupe, resprayed it myself in Titanium grey. Redoing the interior as well, thinking of getting it re-trimmed in a nice red leather. I have a dilemma though regarding fitment of my bbs rs's. spec of my wheels are 16 x 8 et42 , bought 18mm adaptec adapters to fit them. I am wanting to purchase larger outer lips, but i need to know how large i can go. I did a test fitment of them and took a pic along with a tape measure, they currently have .5 inch lips. I know that there is quite a bit of camber in the rear so i am wanting to get some opinions from everyone. Thanks.
How she looked when i first got her

    fitment in question
Also am getting coilovers installed soon, would that make much difference in terms of fitment?

    Thanks for you help guys

Just a little update guys, have been quite busy with work lately so haven't had much time to do anything with the car. Things that have been done,
-Retrofitted r134a air conditioning, including parallel flow condenser, zirgo high performance fan and all rubber hoses have been replaced by enzed,
        - Found a hole less boot lid, and prepped it up for paint, i prefer this look , Also finally received my coil overs from broadway static, cant wait to get these beauties installed, cant believe how small the springs are hehe.
-Ordered some fake leather from eBay and wrapped my upper headlining cover, actually turned out quite good.
        - Repainted bonnet because i accidentally sanded through while wet sanding , but now looks better than ever.

Thanks guys. Yep bumper chrome has been colour coded and the trim around the windows has been painted to black, i think it looks better too.

Heres another update for you guys. Finally managed to get the dash in the car and started plugging everything back in, the new dash really makes a difference, only thing to add now are the seats and door cards, which are getting retrimmed as we speak D
Took her outside for a look in the sun, here are some shots
