Don't Mind Me, Just A Magazine Photographer From SoCal
Hey Stance l Works Peeps!
My name is Aleksey Royt and I am 21 year old photographer based out of Los Angeles, CA. I have a huge love of fast paced sports, loud music, fast cars, and all things fun and exciting. I try to show case my passion for the thrilling side of life through my photography. I'm drawn to the things that the average person wouldn't look twice at. Standing out amongst the crowd and showing what the world has hiding all over it is what my style is all about.
I have been shooting for the better end of a decade now. In that time I have taught myself the ins and outs of both the modern DSLR and classic SLR platforms as well as taught myself in all industry standard editing and creation software; most notably the famous Adobe Suite in it's entirety. Over the last decade I have found myself shooting everything from nature, to professional sporting events, to car shows, as well as every median in between. My experience traveling across the spectrum of adrenaline junky habits has left me well versed in many aspects, and the only fuels me to capture my love for new and exciting things so that others can experience it as I have, at least in part.
My work in the automotive industry has been featured on many medians from online media blogs such as Just Stance, Stance Stories, and Still Hood; to social media pages where I have had photos reposted from such industry behemoths as Stance:Nation, Motor Mavens, and VersionTwo Laboratory. All of this has led to my most notable achievement to date, as you can now find my work in every issue of S3 (Speed, Style, Sound) Magazine starting with their December 2012 issue. Becoming a full time staff member at a major media outlet is a dream come true and I hope to use my time with them to expand my talent exponentially as well as absorb and try to put my own spin on many popular photography styles I never had the opportunity to be exposed too.
Currently I can be seen shooting a Canon 60D. My glass collection is fairly vast spanning over a dozen types of lenses but my lens of choice is typically my 40mm 2.8L Macro lens I have affectionately nicknamed "Pancake". I have a wide variety of gear including my own studio quality lighting, many style of bi and tri pods, as well as vast amounts of speciality equipment such as car mounted camera rigs, video sliders, etc.
