82 e21 tx

Just picked up this 82 320i a few weeks ago. Not in the greatest shape, better than some I peeped. Needs the interior redone, along with some bodywork to the driver door and passenger side rad support. I live in Red Oak TX if there are any fellow Bimmer lovers around let me know. I also have an 01 Jetta GLX, and a 95 240sx with a RB25DET swap.

The thought crossed my mind. The way the RB is set up now it's putting out 400hp, with the ability to go up to 750hp. I have a smaller T3 I might try on the e21. I really want to swap a early e30 engine and drivetrain, with a small responsive turbo.

by early e30 engine do you mean m10 or m20? ive seen some m20b25's and m20b27's that were boosted to like 500hp. the motor is cheap as hell too

M20 most likely. I think boosted to about 350-400hp would be perfect for this chassis. It will need some bracing to handle that abuse. I saw an e21 on SpeedHunters with 1000hp, it needed a cage. So 400hp shouldn't need to much.
