  • stang on air

Figured id post my car and show how it turned out. read some here to figure out what i was doing.

Bought an Airlift kit, the newest version, digital management, the works and went to work.
The tank and compressor are mounted in the spare wheel well here under my false floor I built, doesnt match 100% but is better then nothing.

and heres the car at all 0, can still trim the bump stops alitle in the rear but havnt gotten around to it yet.

also all filled up to max just to show the height, + it looks funny

Other things ive done, wheels+tires, control arms/panhard bar, new headunit for stereo, cams and cai for the engine, hoping to save for a twin turbo kit in a year or two

That's pretty cool! Very subtle. Max height looks stock.

Max height is actually above stock.
I'll have to get a ride height pic because I always forget to take one when it's clean.
There's actually more of us moving over to air. Love the ride and performance of the airlift kit.

I've got 18x9 up front and 10 wide in the rear with 255 and 275 respectively.
Will go to 285 in the rear when I replace

YES!!! one by one people are starting to realize air is sooo functional. I love the car very, subtle but eye catching. The false door looks good to me. Clean set up man

thanks. i spent more time trying to figure out how i wanted the trunk than i did installing the bags themselves, lol.

built a base for the tank and compressor to mount to out of plywood and carpeted it. its held down to the wheel well by a bolt to where the jack bolts down. dual functionality
built a raised false floor to make entire trunk even out of basically scrap wood a friend gave me. the folding door is pegboard reinforced with aluminum strips and carpeted, and then just lays down on the rest of the floor leaving only a few seams

Dont really have enough about this to post a new thread, so just piggy back off my original thread.

Got a set of the tail lights that copied the '13-'14 mustang tails that have been long awaited, they sold out within hours of being released and are still back ordered until well into December.

I was lucky getting a set early and am very happy with them.

If you arent familiar with the '13+ lights, the outside ring is LED's are lit up when you turn on headlights, and the center squares are the brake/turn/hazard lights, with white LED's built in for reverse.
