With the face of the wheel, they will just fill in the physical bolt hole. Cool project tho!
I agree, that's why I am trying to have inserts. Most people say they're doable if you're making a slight change, like 5x120->5x114.3 or 5x114.3->5x108, not like 5x100 to 5x130. The inserts aren't really that noticeable and having wheels in my bolt pattern is much less of a hassle than adapters.

this is a wheel with inserts that went from 5x120->5x114.3:

Maybe it's the contrast.. When you think about it VWs did it too.
Designers were on to something. "Too old"?! Lol the irony.
Definitely subbed. I wanna see how this turns out!

Nice Volvo dude, can't wait to see the CCWs mounted up.

My Equips in my sig were re-drilled with inserts. Went from 5X114 to 5X120. Also enlarged the hub bore, so they bolt straight up.

        Welcome to StanceWorks.

This looks awesome so far, seems like more of a build thread than an intro thread though, maybe have it moved? Looking forward to progress though. I've heard of some guys doing hub swaps from other cars on Volvo's so the bolt pattern is something less stupid.

I've always wanted a white brick, (wagon though) and have always had thoughts about powder coating the 3-piece rims a matte black w/ white bolts... I think it would look perfect on Olga! But to each his own. Love the Volvo and keep up the great progress. welcome to s|w

What a difference those round headlights make, cleans up the front end of the car a lot. This is one cool project. Keep up the great work. Those ccw's should look pretty bad ass.
What's done to the engine, other than 3" exhaust?

Thanks man, I thought the exact same thing. As of now its a stock, tired, B21FT. Only mod is a manual boost controller (set to about 10 psi) which gives adequate power for the kind of parking lot drifting my friends and I do.
