My name's Jared. I drive a 2012 Chevy Malibu LS. Always loved the bodystyle, and thought nobody ever did them justice. Picked it up brand new for a steal. Owned it for a year, and have been working on getting it to sit proper the entire time. Took a ton of homework. It's static on KW variant 1 coilovers for a SAAB 9-3 currently. No, it wasnt a direct bolt up setup, but it was close enough. Prior to that I was on car specific lowering springs that only put it as low as stock JDM cars. lol... The wheels had to be custom drilled for my goofball 5x110 lug pattern. Still have more in the works as far as fitment and ride height tweaks. Here's some recent pics:

I would too man! Unfortunately the rear is a separate spring and shock, and the spring already has 3.75 coils cut off of it. haha! Idk how much further I can take it before I have zero travel. I'd probably have to revert to an air setup to achieve it.

hahaha...might take a while. I wont do air unless I have a leveling system to compensate for unexpected leaks and such. Those systems are never cheap, and my income simply does not permit those purchases as of now....but one day my friend.

Thank you man. Glad everyone is so supportive thus far. Once again, air is in this car's future, I'm just not too sure when yet. haha. There's also some tech things I'd want to know, like if it's possible to slip the strut bags over my existing coilover shock bodies...I wouldnt want to put the factory ones back on just so I could be on air. I might honestly try to bag it a year from now If my addiction still exists which I'm certain it will....haha.
