Ive owned my e32 for a few months now, and have been on the fence the whole time. I came from Volkswagen's and still miss some old ones from time to time. I had to make a tough call and sell my mk2, mainly because I wanted to get some bills out from under me, and at the same time my friends e32 came up for sale. He was the second owner, and with only 113k miles on her I knew that it was well taken care of. So I got the mk2 sold and went up to PA to get her. It was a fun drive home, figuring out all of the cool things this car has, even being a 91.
Here is my mk2 that I sold

And when I picked up the e32, here is what she looked like

It was lowered on some bav auto springs with one coil taken out of the front, had the rear muffler deleted and some 6000k HIDs. So naturally I started to do more to the car.
Started with getting rid of all the amber, and replacing the fogs with projector housings. I also cut another coil off of the front springs, and replaced the shock inserts with bilstein's. Also replaced just about every suspension component under the car from the end links, to the control arms. I still need to install some of the rear bits though. I then decided to join the BMWCCA as well. Seemed fitting and I am a big fan of the organization.

Then dropped in a k&n filter, and added a chip from Shogun (no picture). The plastic cover that goes in the shifter selector was trashed, so I replaced that too.
I bought a set of Schmidt Spacelines. I knew they would look decent since they are period correct, and I got them for a steal so I couldn't pass on them. They are 18x8.5 et35 and 18x10 et30. Here is the test fit.

And that brings us to today. I decided I wanted a little more low, so I cut another coil out of the front, bringing it to 3 taken out total. The ride is a little harsh, but Ive driven worse. I bought 25mm and 30mm H&R spacers for the wheels, since the offsets were too high. Bringing the wheels to a 18x8.5 et10 up front and a 18x10 et0 in the rear. I am running Nankang NS2 tires, 215/40 front and 225/40 rear. I was unsure about the Nankangs because they were cheaper than most, but on the drive to work today they're actually rather nice. Not too loud and ride very smooth. Have to wait for some rain to see how that goes. I rolled the rear fenders but its still rubs just a tad, so Ill have to massage it a little more. The fronts are fine, and makes me want to go lower. So I may pick up a set of coilovers (or go air ride) and get to work. Anyways, here is a few pictures

I am on the hunt for the brake duct/front lip and am considering having my windows tinted. Sometime soon I will be taking her to a local detail shop to have the paint corrected and polished. I am also going to paint my brake calipers gloss black, since you can see them very well through the wheels. The old stock paint just doesn't look good in there. Thanks for checking out my post, I hope you like the car
