Shakotan in japan is not only a town but translates to low body type cars or "Lowered Cars".Originally posted by tunnelvision View PostI got to excited when i saw your user id. I was hoping to see some Shakotan's.
I have about 2 inches of oil pan clearance and about 1 inch of frame rail clearance. So i think I technically I have the shakotan thing covered. There are a few different styles of shakotan cars, Zokusha, Kaido racer, Bosozoku, Shakotan, Haiso, and Oni-Kyan. Since I prefer the more original or closer to stock style cars that are really low,...and the car was made in the 80's, I fall into shakotan catergory. But dont worry Im just getting started. I got my suspension done which is the main part. Once i get a set of wheels on it and take some measurement's and hunt down some classic and vintage parts it will all come together.

Yeah I am in dire need of some wheels. But im already on coilovers with front camber plates. And adjustable lateral link and panhard bar in the rear. Wheels are definatly my next priority

DUDE. Tons of potential here. Get some SSR mkIII's or Longchamp XR-4's NOW.
And yeah, what part? I'm in Western PA.
